Shopaholic!

It's just 3 days after I got my pay, and I had almost spent all my money. Seriously, I really need to control myself from buying things. For the last 3 days, I spent my money on:
- Guess wallet;
- Charles & Keith bag;
- Cache Cache shirt;
- BeneFit Stay Don't Stray
- BeneFit Confessions of A Concealaholic
- Ecotools cosmetic brushes
- Skin79 Hot Pink Super + BB Cream
and etc etc... my shopping list is never ending and my pay is definitely not enough to satisfy my wants and needs. Mummy was damn shocked when she heard that I spent all my money in 3 days. She asked me, "You really spent all your money?" and I answered proudly, "YA!". LUCKILY, the government is giving us $200 in 2 more days! Haha alright, so how am I going to survive with such little allowances for the next 5 months in SIM?

When will my parents strike TOTO/4D and win big money ahhhh~?

Birthday wishes from my friends ♥

Okay, I am going to update on how I spent my birthday. So I spent my birthday by having simple dinner with Baby at the restaurant located at Century Square.

This restaurant serves local dishes which are quite similar to Tzi Char. If I did not remember wrongly, it was our second or third time eating at this restaurant. Anyway, we ordered and tried different dishes.

Boiled Peanuts
(It serves to us while looking at menu and waiting for our orders.)

Soup of The Day - Pork Ribs with Corn Soup

Sambal Kangkong

Sliced Fish with Ginger and Spring Onion

Fried Deer Meat
(I love this but Baby said that it was salty.)

Baby cannot give me a present because his father passed away this year (It's a taboo!) So I told him that he must save his money for my BIGGER present next year. HAHAHA! Of course, a lot of my friends wished me birthday wishes via smses and Facebook.

Vouchers from colleagues
(Sylvia, Eewen, Chelsea, Ven Huey and Wendy Choy)
And ya, I spent it all to buy Charles & Keith bag HAHAHA!

A hand-made birthday card from colleagues
(Jasmine and Rebecca)

I think that's all how I spent my birthday :)

It's my BIRTHDAY today!

Thank you for people who wished me via sms or faceboook! I appreciated it very much :) Cheers!

Mineral Makeup, should I buy?

Arrr~ I feel so anxious to get mineral makeup for myself! Before I purchase anything, I did a lot of research, including the recommended mineral makeup brands; understanding the ingredients of mineral makeup; basic application of mineral makeup etc.

For your information, mineral makeup is great for natural looks. One of the most appealing things about mineral makeup that it makes our skin looks naturally flawless. However, before we buy any mineral foundation, we have to find the right match/shade.

Therefore, I recommend these two websites for mineral makeup...
EverydayMinerals - www.everydayminerals.com
It offers free samples (foundation, blush, concealer), but you have to pay for the shipping costs which cost about USD5 plus. I love EDM brushes too! However, they are rather costly if you select FEDEX for shipping services. Unless you are buying a lot of products from EDM, the shipping costs are not worth it.

Lumiere - www.lumierecosmetics.com
It also offers free samples. The best thing is that it has its official distributors in Malaysia which provides cheaper shipping services to Singapore. The shipping service is FREE if you order RM100 or above. Again, I love its pink kabuki brush :)

Until now, I still have not make up my mind on which to buy. Hahaha! I will update on it when I have make up my mind.

Benefit cosmetics

Pardon me, if you guys are not interested in cosmetics because I'm gonna post many entries on cosmetics to kill my boredom. Or could I say that I am planning for my shopping list? Hahaa...

After browsing websites on Benefit cosmetics and reading the reviews, I almost went ga-ga about adding all their products into my shopping list.

I simply love the "vintage" style of packaging of their products, and I have decided to get a few of them and try them out. Alright, I shall start with...

MAKEUP BASE/PRIMER

"That Girl" Brightening Face Primer helps to brighten our skin tones. It can be worn alone, under/over our makeup. It is definitely suitable for those girls who wanna go for natural looks. Most importantly, it is one of the bestselling products.

Stay-put Primer for Concealers & Eyeshadows works 360° around our eyes to make concealers and eyeshadows to STAY-PUT. Concealers don't crease, eyeshadows stay vibrant and true! I think that I really need it badly, as my concealer (for my dark circles) always crease and ya, I look like a panda with makeup. Funny, isn't it? Hopefully, it will work for me if I really buy it.

CONCEALERS
Talking about concealers, it is a must for me! Despite that I have spent a lot of money on solving my problem of having dark circles and I have been trying hard to sleep at least 8 hours everyday, it doesn't really reduce my dark circles. Therefore, concealers are the life-saver for my dark circles.

When I saw these 2 products online, I feel so tempted to buy...
Both Boi-ing and ERASE Paste help to brighten and camouflage dark circles and discoloration. Should I buy both? Hahaha...

BROWS
I admit that I am lazy bum who doesn't like to go for eyebrows shaping sessions frequently. However, this Brows A-Go-Go could probably the best brows shaping kit for me?

LOOSE POWDER
Although I might not want to try Benefit's foundation or loose powder, the packaging of Material Girl Matte-Finish Setting Powder really attracts my attention! I might add it into my shopping list :)

CHEEKS
When I browsed through Benefit website, I tried this quiz - http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/node/n/491173011/?ext_id=BSLP09_linktoBeautyIQ2, my results showed that Dallas Cheek Powder is suitable for me. It gives our complexion a natural-looking glow that will leave us looking younger, healthier and more vibrant. However, I may not consider getting it HAHAHA!

EYELINER

I want to get this! WATERPROOF, stay put rain or shine!! True or not? Anyone tries it?

Next, I am gonna compare and check whether it is cheaper to buy online or from the retail stores. AND, I will post my next entry on Mineral Makeup :) Stay tuned!

:)

Right after sending the cake to Sylvia, I accompanied her and other colleagues for their dinner as Baby was not knocking off from work yet. I slacked around the office till 5.30pm, then I went off with Jasmine.

I met Baby at Tampines MRT station, and took train to City Hall. We had our dinner at Xin Wang Taiwan. It was our second time having dinner there, the food was quite nice and affordable.

I had my Braised Minced Pork with Egg Rice again :)

Their menu is cute but I don't like it because it doesn't really show the pictures of what they have...

Tadah~ Baby also ate this..

This is not really nice, I only can remember the mushroom is wrapped with bacon stick.. its sauce has the weird taste.

Next, we went to Marina Square as Baby wanted to get a new earphones from Creative. When we were about to reach the centre of Marina Square, I saw Da-xiong's head, then I knew it was Doraemon event! I quickly pulled Baby to watch Doraemon, HAHAHA! Doraemon is Baby's favourite!

HAHAHA, Baby was smiling when he saw Doraemon. After 5 minutes, the event ended. We continued to shop for his earphones. We walked around Marina Square for about 1 hour, then home-sweet-home :)

Oh well, I cannot meet Baby next week because he needs to go for his reservices for 1 week. Luckily for me, I am working so I don't feel so bored at home. And yeah, Sylvia just left a message on Facebook, saying that my cheesecake is delicious. Besides her, Jasmine commented that it was nice too! HAHAHAHA!

OREO CHEESECAKE!

I made Oreo Cheesecake yesterday, again. This time round, it is not for Baby, but it is for Sylvia Ng (my colleague-cum-friend at WS Popular). She said that I owe her a Oreo Cheesecake, but I wondering why why? Despite that, I still baked it for this sweetie. This sweetie has helped me to replace me for work during weekends when I was busy with school projects for 1st semester. Moreover, she is the one who I like to chat with :)

Here go her Oreo Cheesecake...

Mix and Beat it!

Pour the mixture into baking tin.

OREO!

Baking-in-Process...

Tadah~ after more than 6 hours of refrigeration, it is done :)

Close-up! HAHA it don't really look nice. But I also not sure whether it will taste good or not LOL!

I went to Simei, just to buy this cake box.

Haha, I will be delivering this cake to her later when she is at work. She said that it is her motivation (motivating her to go work). HAHA hopefully, this "motivation" doesn't taste weird or disappoints her... LOL!
