Julie & Julia

Although this is a long movie, I like its storyline, especially it is based on 2 true stories of Julie & Julia. I am impressed by Julia for her being optimistic and cheerful despite of facing many obstacles in learning French cooking and publishing her first book with her 2 partners - Mastering the Art of French Cooking.

Well, the foods shown in the movie are mouth-watering too. Hmmm...when will I ever learn to cook like them?

500 Days of Summer

I would never ever be like Summer (in this movie), definitely for sure... Oh well, I think that this Summer is a bit bitchy, for many reasons. Those who wanna know the reasons, watch this movie :)

HECTIC WORK SCHEDULE...

I nearly fainted when I saw my work schedule. As you can see, my schedule is damn so packed. I hardly have 2 or more off-days per week for this month. Although it's good to earn more money, I have so little time for myself :( for the sake of MONEY, I endure...

Happy 8th month anniversary to us :)

Actually I wanted to post it before 12am (or before 2nd October 09), but my internet connection gave me many problems just now. So, I missed it!

Oh yar, did I mention on baking a cake a few days ago? Yep, my chocolate sponge cake is yummy yummy, even my fussy dad nodded his head. I am going to bake something nice with my cousins this Sunday. My mum kept complaining "my electricity bill is going up arrhh!" Haha :D

I can't wait for Mid-autumn Festival because I am going to play lanterns with Baby and gorge myself with nice food haha! Lalalalala~

Accident

This movie is not really nice :( I watched Accident with Baby on Monday..and he nearly fell asleep. Anyway, I watched this movie because of Louis Koo :)

After graduated for about a month, Baby got a job! He is really lucky because he only went through his first job interview and he got it! Well, I feel happy for him but we gonna spend lesser time together after he starts work. However, I believe that we will make our efforts to arrange time for our meetings :)

OK, I wanna bake something nice tomorrow! Hmmmm...

A quick update

27.08.2009 THURSDAY

Finally, I got my chance to meet Baby after his last paper today. We had our dinner at Manpuku. Yeah, we asked the waitress a lot of questions on how the card works and etc (due to our first time having meals there). Actually I wanna take some pictures, but I saw the sign said "NO PHOTOGRAPHY". So, I listened to them :)

Next, we watched The Proposal. Hmm I expect the storyline to be quite interesting but it turned out to be okay-okay only.

Hmmmm.... I'm gonna be very busy for next few days :))

We watched UP in 2D instead of 3D because we don't really like the 3D effects after we watched ICE AGE 3D that time. Anyway, this is the best animation movie and I recommend you guys to watch it ya.

By the way, from the start of movie, I realised that this character Russell looks like someone. Haha, guess who?

Updates

I always enjoy spending time out with Baby. Yesterday, he came all the way to Tampines to watch The Hangover with me. Although he has a lot of things to do, he still managed to set them aside and spent some quality time with me. Poor baby, he has to study for his quizzes and prepare for his project presentation right after his Engineering Project Show (EPS) ended last week. I am so proud of him that he got a merit award for one of his projects, that explained why he participated in EPS.

Anyway, this movie is quite hilarious as in these guys did some insane things while they were "accidentally" drugged by the fellow. I rated 2.5/5 for this movie. Maybe you guys can watch it if you are bored.

Alright, I spent a bomb on this yesterday. Yup, Panasonic ES-WD71 Epilation. It costs me $149!

Oh well, I hope that the after-effect is good. Initially, I wanted to buy Braun epilator but somehow this model attracted my attention. Hoho, the salesman still demostrated the way to epilate ON HIS HAND for us to see woooh..poor thing, nowadays it's really hard to earn money uh.

Sigh! My hard-earned money is gone :(

A quick update...

I watched A Frozen Flower with Baby at The Cathay last night. Yeah, the first ever R21 movie that I had watched in cinema. Overall, I rated it as 3.5/5 and I think that it's quite worth to watch it. I had spent my sweet saturday with Baby :)

Today, I slacked at home. I did not know that Botak Jones has opened at the coffeeshop downstair near my house. So, I had my lunch with Mummy and Bro there. The food is so-so and served in huge share. Of course, I cannot managed to finish it all. Sigh, I spent a lot of money on skincare products again~

I feel like going on shopping spree... anyone?

Baby's birthday celebration ♥

Heehee I celebrated Baby's birthday with him yesterday. I bought him his favourite football club Liverpool Jacket from Adidas and managed to get Steven Gerald poster. Baby must be damn happy because he also got the latest Liverpool Away Jersey from his sister and same poster of Steven Gerald. The amazing thing is that both of us bought the presents from the same place at Tampines One. Too bad, I have forgotten to take the pictures of the jacket and jersey.

Baby gave me dinner treat at Sushi Tei (Raffles City), the food are yummy! We had been busy gorging ourselves with food for the whole night. We continued to have our supper at TCC (Citylink) and home-sweet-home after that.

What a hectic week I had this week. From last Sunday until yesterday, I have been working non-stop, and finally I requested off-day today just to attend Nicole's 21st. Before going over for the event, I met Baby in afternoon to watch Obssessed at Century Square. Hmmm thriller movie, and I quite like it. After movie, we went Saycheeze to have our cheesecakes to fill our stomachs or should I say just to satisfy my craving for cheesecakes?

Next, we took bus to Tampines Safra for the event. Oh well, I felt a little bit reluctant to go at last minute. Haha not because I am not interested in attending event or what. It is because I don't feel like seeing my ex AGAIN. Yada yada, I din even say hi to him or whatever. So, Baby and I just enjoyed ourselves playing games with the people there. Without Baby, I would have felt lost there. Surprisingly, I saw my secondary school senior, Alex Tan at the party. He took quite some time to recall my name HAHAHA! Had a quick chat while taking our food. Ya, he is going to be my senior AGAIN in SIM.

After the party, Baby and I went for our supper at McDonald at my house downstair. We talked a lot of rubbish and he did a lot of silly actions which made me laughed like hell. He's really CUTE :)

SAD :(

Baby and his family will be reaching Genting at 4am :( He goes on holiday with his family this weekend, leaving me alone in Singapore. Luckily, I have planned out how to spend my weekend. I am going to look for Mei Ching at Parkway Parade tomorrow and then continue my shopping spree :)

Let me update on what I have been doing this weekend...

I met Nicole for lunch at Junction8 yesterday. She passed me my belated birthday present (THANK YOU so much!) and my MS Excel textbook. That textbook is damn heavy and made my shoulders ache after carrying it around for the whole day. Anyway, it was quite great to meet her because we got many things to catch up. We gossiped a lot of things ya. Many things happened after the breakup with my ex. Oh well, we cannot control or stop certain things happen too. We had our lunch at Swensens and slacked till 3pm before she left for tuition while I went off to Liang Court to meet Xinyan and Ceyu.

For the first time I went to Liang Court, and not surprisingly I nearly lost my way there. I gave a few calls to Xinyan and asked people for help LOL. Finally, I got my way to PartyWorld. That room is so spacious and nicely decorated. I wanna go there again! After KTV, we shopped around Liang Court. We saw fireworks when we were on our way to The Central. Oh my god, damn beautiful :) Next, we had our dinner at Pasta de Waraku and then we headed to Bugis Street. Heehee when Baby told me that he was with his friend at TCC Bugis, I surprised him by looking for him at TCC. Anyway, my cousins went home while I waited for Baby. Then Baby sent me home after I finished watching Guess Guess Guess at his house.

Today, he met me for dinner and movie at Tampines. Yup, we watched "I LOVE YOU, MAN". It is a comedy movie which is narrating on the "advantages" of having friends haha, quite irony? But it is definitely a good movie for you to relax your mind. After movie, we had our dinner at Pastamania. Yummy yummy, pasta is my all-time favourite! Next next, shopping! I bought my masks and mascara at SASA while Baby bought his polo tees at G2000. I'm Happy :)

Whee!

Sweet, I got L'OREAL ColourAppeal Eyeshadow Quad - Penelope Cruz's Toffee Crystal as a birthday gift yesterday. This is because I joined L'OREAL as a Beauty Ambassador when I bought their products last time. I received its welcome gift of facial product samples too. Great, isn't it?

Woohoo! I changed my old phone to this Samsung F480. I really need some time to get used to this touchscreen phone. My hands are quite clumsy. And ya, my copycat brother also changed this phone with me yesterday. He got the BLACK colour while I got the PINK colour.

I just realized that many people changed phones. Baby also super loves his new phone! Heehee, I can see many strike-lines in my shopping list, yeah!

Whee! I wanna renew plan for my handphone. Not because that I don't like my current handphone, it is because my handphone is giving me a lot of problems. Okay, I am aiming for 2 choices - SAMSUNG F480 or LG KU990 VIEWTY. Yes, PINK! I have been comparing their reviews but I have not decided on which one I want.

16.06.2009 - MY 21ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

Heeehee I celebrated the actual day with Baby :)) Okay, before I talked about it, I wanna thank those peeps who sent me birthday wishes on that special day. Thanks a lot!

Okay, I met Baby at Cityhall because I need to collect my graduation photos at Penisular Plaza. Oh well, I chose the wrong pictures :(( okay, fine never mind about it. We headed down to Suntec City for lunch. We decided on Swensens because most of the restaurants are closed for dinner preparation. Hmmm we had our late lunch at 3pm so I supposed that most restaurants rest from 3pm to 5pm?
