Happening happens!

Whee! This is way too happening these few days... First, royal wedding of Prince William Kate Middleton! Second, Singapore General Election! Third, we got our $600 from the government! Okay, I cannot concentrate on my studies now. While people are thinking about which party to support, I am thinking about how I am going to spend my money... :)

Alright, although I have other things to list from my shopping list, these are some of them which I wanna have first...

I wanna to get all these 3 colours! Pretty, right?

I totally fall in love with China Glaze after I have tried China Glaze Crackle, so I decided to buy and try other ranges of its nail polishes :) So far I like this range, but I have not decide on the colours yet. I may want to get those unique colours like Flyin' High, Re-Fresh Mint or Happy Go Lucky...

In addition, I wanna "invest" on treadmill as well. You might think that I must be crazy or what. But I am not, I am just being LAZY! I wanna jog or walk, but I don't like to step out of my house... Isn't that great? Yada yada, it might not build my stamina or whatever but I want to LOSE FAT!

Instead of being a couch potato, I can exercise while watching my favourite TV shows... Isn't that great? So, I am psycho-ing Mummy to invest on it with me :) I won't buy those expensive kinds of treadmill, because I am not rich ok!

As for GE, although I am a virgin voter, I have made up my mind on which party I should cast my vote on... :) Alright, I got to go and watch 真情滿天下... Hahaa! you can call me Auntie if you want! LOL! Byeee~

China Glaze Crackle ♥

Woohoo! I received my China Glaze Crackle (Lightning Bolt and Black Mesh) from Nail Vibe yesterday! Like I said, I am damn angry with the seller at SIM pushcart. Therefore, I cancelled my preorder for China Glaze Crackle (Lightning Bolt) after waiting for almost 2 months. It only took 2 - 3 days to receive my online orders lar! Okay, enough of me ranting and complaining. Anyway, I tried both immediately after I received them :)

Bubble-wrapped :)

China Glaze Crackle - Black Mesh

China Glaze Crackle - Lightning Bolt

After applying the base coat, I tried Silver as the base colour to match both Lightning Bolt and Black Mesh...

It's Silver, not Gold :)

Tadah~ my first trial... Hmmm it seems like Silver doesn't look like Silver uh? Look like Gold? But never mind, it's still look nice to me.

First Trial

Okay, I removed the colours and tried to match them with another colour - Glittery Pink!

Glittery Pink as the base colour

Matched with Black Mesh

Well, it turned out quite nice :) After top-coating....tadah!

Nail Colour of the Week :)

Overall, I am quite satisfied with China Glaze Crackle. Remember, in order to "crack", just apply ONE thin coat! Do not apply more than one coat because it will be too thick to "crack"! I shall buy more colours next time :) Heehee...!

Unpredictable News

Life is so unpredictable that you'll never know what is going to happen the next minute... On Tuesday afternoon, I received a call from Papa while I was studying for examination. I was shocked to hear that my 4th uncle (Papa's 4th elder brother) was found dead at home. Initially, I really thought that Papa made a mistake. However, when I heard his loud sniffing sounds, then I knew that it was no joke.

He died of heart attack in the morning when nobody was at home, sad wasn't it? I believed he struggled a lot when he had heart attack, and Papa told me that when he saw his dead body, it was full of blue-black patches... and the position wasn't nice too (as I said, he might be struggling when having heart attack)... Papa felt very sad when he saw his elder brother died in such way... All of his siblings cried when they reached his house and saw his body...

Ah-po didn't know about it when they received this new. It was the next morning when the people from funeral parlour sent 4th uncle's body back, and then they informed her. It was very devastating to know that her son left before her. Furthermore, Ah-po is diagnosed with stomach cancer, and we are worried for her health too. However, they think that Ah-po has the right to know this... 4th uncle and his family live the same block as Ah-po, so when Ah-po knew about it, she just went downstair to the funeral. She cried all the way when she went down, and saw the people put the body into the coffin etc etc... ... ...

Can you imagine... just two days... and this person just gone... Two days before he passed away, he joined us to Mandai to pray Ah-gong, and was talking to us when we were on the bus... Anyway, I attended his funeral last night. Many thoughts and emotions come into my mind... We must really treasure our loved ones when they are still around with us...

Hectic Schedule

Arr~ Examination is coming soon! Yet, I have 3 more weeks to study for examination. Anyway, my examination timetable is already out! Here it is...

26 April 2011 - Leadership & Management
3 May 2011- Ethics & Governance

9 May 2011 - Staffing the Organisation

Although I only have three modules for this semester, I feel very lazy to study because I am sick of taking examination. To me, examination is a process of making me to memorise all the theories and concepts BY HARD, and then forcing myself to apply what I have memorised to the questions. So after the examination, please don't be bothered to ask me about how I have answered the questions, because I already forgotten what I have written. SERIOUS! Sometimes, I would forget what the questions are (after the examination)... HAHAHA!

Okay anyway I had my last lecture for this semester last Friday.

Yeah, the last lecture was on Ethics & Governance. Why do I post that picture above? Hahaha he is our E&G lecturer. Based on his looks, will you think he is a boring teacher? NO, I tell you he is not! He is damn funny and his lectures are never boring! From the way he speaks and the way he teaches, you will never expect he has a Doctor of Philosophy in Management! He speaks Singlish (Singapore-English) during the lectures, and always gives examples related to food (i.e. ban-mian)... I am very amazed by his portfolio when I saw this ---> ONG CHIN HUAT . Hahaha! Luckily, I did not use his publications for the research for my assignment. Anyway, I gonna miss attending his lectures :)

After the last lecture on last Friday, I tagged along with Elvina and Kris to Plaza Singapura for shopping! Kris drove to SIM to submit his contracts to Student Helpdesk, and yes he gonna be a student! Since he has signed on to serve Singapore, he can only be a part-time student. Well, it is still good to upgrade oneself :) After settling his things, he drove us to PS. Yada yada, I went to Daiso again :) As for him, he wanted to buy the case display for the scape-book made by his FYP group mates. That's why Elvina accompanied him, as she made it and knew the size of the scape-book. After that, we went to NEX to have our dinner...and I shopped for groceries after dinner. Then, Kris drove us home :)

Well, my weekend was packed too! I met Baby for movie and dinner on Saturday. We watched HOP at PS. Haha, ya I know that I have gone to PS twice a week (for this week only). Anyway, the storyline of this movie is quite similar to one of those Christmas movies I watched before, but I can't remember it! The rabbits are so adorable! I nearly have the impulse to rear a rabbit, haha luckily Baby said NO! It isn't easy to care for animals too, and I cannot spend more time taking care of animals. Yeah, I don't wanna be an irresponsible owner...

Heehee, I saw this! Baby bought me this! What is this?

LOVE-A-LOT Carebear
Handphone Accessories

Okay, I will not be seeing Baby for next few days. He has reservist training from 6 April to 15 April. We can only get to meet once after 15 April because I need to stay at home to study for examination and he is also going to Gentings with his family during a weekend after his training. Sigh~ no choice!

Yesterday, I went to Mandai with my family and relatives to visit my ah-gong. Wah, damn a lot of people there too! So, traffic jams around that area. Hmm it took us nearly 2 hours to travel from Bedok to Mandai. Luckily, we hired a bus to bring us there. And ya, we took a nap in the bus during the journey back to Bedok. It was a tiring and "hot" Sunday. Ya, I felt a little bit feverish when I reached home. It must be the heat caused by the burning of the incense papers...

Okay, I guess I should start my revision now :)
