Out with Baby ♥

I had a great day with Baby yesterday :) Even though we always do the same things every Saturday, we enjoy ourselves like nobody's business. Be it watching nice movies, gorging ourselves with yummy food or talk-cock-sing-song whatever we like.

And ya, I got my salary so I treated Baby dinner at Kenny Rogers. Yummy yummy, Baby's recommendation! After dinner, we shopped around Marina Square and I bought a dress top at John Little Fair. Then we watched 17 Again. Hmm it was quite a hilarious show regarding family matters, friendships and relationships.

Alright, I feel that I need to prepare some stuffs on my birthday party in these few weeks so that I won't get so flustered. *winks*

Handsome Suit :)

Yipee! I have just registered myself for the Graduation Ceremony online. I am going to meet my 7Fs in school for graduation attire rental tomorrow. How fast our 3 years of polytechnic life flew~ And I miss our school's westen food, yummy yummy! I MUST EAT IT TOMMOROW (to be precise, is LATER!)

Anyway, I watched Handsome Suit with Baby just now. It was quite a hilarious show!

Baby said that he wants to search for his Handsome Suit hahaha! Oh well, looks is not important right? Of course, inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. However, there are a majority of people think that they only bother to appreciate one's inner beauty if one has outer beauty. Ironic, isn't it?

Okay, I need to sleep now. Good night, world!

Madapple :)

Finally, I have posted up all the pictures taken at Sentosa. I have been working full day since I started to work on Monday. Of course, it was tiring for me to blog after work. Therefore, I can only managed to blog on my off-day.

I am happily working~ Not only because I can earn my own keeps, it is also because there is a library for me to read books during my break time. I kept borrowing books whenever I have time to go library. Baby said that I am insane because I am working at bookstore and yet, I am not tired of reading/looking at books. It is true that I really love reading because I enjoy it! Hahaha!

Oh yar, I have finished reading Madapple, like finally?!

Okay, anyway the summary of Madapple is as follows:
Aslaug has been brought up in near isolation by her mother, taught a wealth of knowledge including the lore and uses of plants and the ancient languages. Orphaned by her mother's sudden death, Aslaug sets out to find the family that she never knew she had, leading her into a dense mystery of botany, religion, genealogy—and tragedy.

Initially, I thought of giving up reading this tough book because the flow of the storyline is quite confusing and the contents are disturbing. It is confusing because the story does not flow as what are happening to the female lead and her family from the start to the end. Instead, the story unfolds in alternating chapters as her life story and her court trial for murder. At first, I stared blankly at the book and got puzzled by what messages the author is trying to convey to her readers. As I continued to read, I realized that there are climax every chapter which urged me to read. And I can really judge this book by its cover – creepy, horror and dark. Although the contents are quite disturbing, I am quite impressed by well-written plot. However, Madapple isn’t for everyone because there are too many references on religious texts, botany theories, ancient languages and mythology. Unless the readers are interested in any topics, the whole book may go right over their heads. Amazing that I have finished this creepy book uh?

Ala! Counting down 2 more months to my birthday! However, I have not prepared anything for my party yet. A lot of things to be done for my birthday party and it isn't easy. I have been cracking my brain to think about the ideas of birthday plans. Okay, maybe I should jot down the ideas on my birthday plan in the notebook so that I will not miss out any details :) I need help too!

My virgin trip to Sentosa!!

At the entrance of Sentosa...

They had been ranting about going to Sentosa since months ago, finally they went to have their fun~ and for me, I was busy snapping pictures to make my virgin trip memorable...

We decided to take the LUGE skyride at night :)

The beach...I can't remember what the name of this beach is...

Green green green everywhere!!

Peacock!

Finally we walked and walked to the beach we wanted to settle. Again, I can't remember the name of this beach :(

The guys played the ball game and of course, I joined in after snapping pictures.

Snap snap~

Look up to the sky :)

The beautiful lights at night...

LUGE! Too bad only a few of us took the skyride, the rest of them were playing poker cards while waiting for us. It was quite scary but fantastic ride woohoo :)

Good-bye Sentosa!

Rotting...

After rotting at home for 2 months, I finally got the temporary part-time job! Hmm I'm gonna start work on next Monday. Great! It's time for me to earn my keeps :)

Let me enjoy my holiday for the next few days. For the past few days, I have been planning for my birthday party. Hmm I realized that it isn't easy to plan events because there are a lot of things I need to take care of. Of course, it is quite enjoyable to plan my own event. And if, my guests are happy, I am satisfied too. I am looking forward to my birthday in June :)

So, I am still waiting for the reply from NTU or SMU. I hate waiting and waiting! :(

No more being a couch potato!

Hmmm well, I moved my ass out of my house today yeah :) For the past 2 months, I have enjoyed being couch potato. Be it munching tibits in front of my television or stoning in front of my desktop.

Firstly, I was asked to run an errand for my dad. I went to Singapore Post Office to pay for his vehicle road tax. Secondly, I went to the National Library to return the books and have borrowed 2 books again. I was quite disappointed with NL (Tampines Branch) because they kept shifting the books around the shelves and I did not know where the shelf locations of novels. So, I have been walking around the 2nd level for 20 minutes.

Lastly, I met Ron, Jay and Matt for movie at E!Hub. We watched The Shinjuku Incident, erm this movie is not so bad but it is quite violent. That's explains why it is classified as NC-16. Anyway, the storyline is about the illegal immigration, the underworld in Japan and bla bla bla. Overall, I rate this movie 3***/5.
