A Fulfilling Weekend

26 March 2011, Saturday
Finally, we managed to watch Rango! Of course, Baby booked the tickets online, and we watched it at Cineleisure. Overall, this movie is not so bad but a little bit boring in the beginning. And, I find the characters very disgusting eh! I don't like REPTILES and animals from the desert! Ewww!

Before we went to Cineleisure, we met at Plaza Singapura. We went to Daiso to buy our things, yes cheap ok! I bought 3 plastic boxes to put my jewelleries and nail polish and Baby bought 3 ring files to put his notes. After we shopped for our things, we had our early dinner at Xin Wang Hongkong Cafe. Next, after dinner, we went to Watson and Guardian to buy things. We had so many bags to carry, and Baby just put everything in a big Daiso bag. Heehee!

We proceeded to Cineleisure to collect our tickets and then sitting on the tall chairs while waiting for time to go into the theatre. After movie, Baby brought me to a place for supper, and a place where I have never went before. Hmm.. we shared a bowl of pork porridge, it was okay-okay only. After supper, we went to Plaza Singapura again. Initially, we were supposed to watch our movie at The Cathay; Baby made a mistake for the venue! So for the whole day, we walked from Plaza Singapura to Cineleisure and from Cineleisure back to Plaza Singapura. Luckily, the distance between these two areas is short!

HAHA, we went to Daiso again! I bought a mirror, a big one :) We took train down to Tampines, and had our coffee and french fries at McCafe at Tampines Mall. Cool, isn't it? Shopping and eating non-stop for the whole day :) Yup, after that home-sweet-home!
27 March 2011, Sunday
Yep, I got the "feel" to cook for my family! I cooked two dishes for our lunch Heehee!

Salted Egg Yolk Prawn

Three Varieties of Steamed Eggs

When I was preparing the ingredients, Papa and Brother were like "Huh, jie's cooking uh? Mummy, please prepare to cook instant noodles leh! Edible or not?!" HELLO! This wasn't my first time cooking leh! Can give me face or not? Anyway, both dishes turned out edible and quite nice! :) I think that it is rather troublesome to cook at home because a lot of things to be cleaned up after cooking. That's why I seldom cook! :)

Okay, that's all I wanna update for this weekend. Ciao~

I ♥ Pink!

I really feel that I have too much time to spend (for the time being)... Anyway, I did two different nail designs in a week. Aiya, it's not because that I am crazy or what. I removed the first nail design because my index finger and middle finger of right hand knocked onto something before the nail polish is dried, so I removed them.

FIRST NAIL DESIGN

Since I don't want to leave my nails unpainted, so I polished my nails in another design. This design do not need much effort than the first design because I applied many coats (french nail tips) for the first design. Whereas, I only applied one coat (entire nails) for the second design and then used dotting tool to make dots.

SECOND DESIGN

Alright, that's all I wanna post today. Off I go to write revision notes for examination :)

I AM SUPER ANGRY!!

It has been more than 1 month since when I placed an order for China Glaze Crackle (Lightning Bolt) from the pushcart in school. ROARRRSS!! I am getting very impatient of waiting for it! The seller told us that it is due to the delay of shipments from USA, but I doubt so. I think that they are consolidating more orders so as to enjoy more discounts for themselves, and delay our orders. This seller charged us $18 per bottle (for preorder), and made us for more than 1 month (FYI, Elvina and I have not receive our nail polish yet). Whereas, I can get the SAME one from Nail Vibe at $10, without having to wait for so long as they are have in-stocks.

I really regretted placing orders from them! AND I WILL NEVER PLACE ANY ORDERS FROM THEM IN THE FUTURE!!

20 March 2011

BOo!

Okay, I shall summarise what I have done this weekend :)

Did I mention about the dry peeling skin around my eye areas? Hmm, I doubt so haha! Anyway, I have this problem last few months. Although I have already seen the doctor that time, this problem still persists. While I went for HPV vaccines last week, I asked the doctor to check this problem again. He was quite surprised that my condition did not improve since that time I visited him because the medicine he gave to me supposed to cure me by now. The reason that this problem persisted is that I still continue to apply eye makeup, so he asked me to stop applying makeup for freaking 2 - 3 months. I was like HUH! Oh my god! Well, no choice! I might be allergic to certain ingredients of makeup. In fact, I started to have this problem since I used these...

Yes, but I don't know which one exactly caused me to have irritating peeling skin around eye areas. You know why? Because I used these two products at the same day, and the next day I got such problem. SO WHO'S FAULT? Eyeliner or eye remover? I simply love this gel eyeliner because it is smudge-proof, especially for oily eyelids. To be safe, I will dump both of them *heartache*

I look damn CUI without eye makeup. Sleepy and puffy eyes!

Actually I am not supposed to apply any makeup, I still applied foundation and concealer to cover my spots and dark circles. Stubborn, isn't it?

Tadah, off I went to meet Baby on Saturday. CUI! Okay, talking about our Saturday date, we didn't managed to watch Rango again boo! Hence, we watched local movie, Perfect Rivals. We showed our support to local productions, ok! Surprisingly, it's quite a funny and nice movie.

Sunday...! Okay, I played mahjong with Mummy and Brother. Yup, three-men mahjong! Heehee! AND I changed my nail colours :)

Base colour: Red
Polka dots: Pink and White

LOLLI-DOTS

Okay, this was how I spent my weekend :)

Updates

Whee!! All my assignments are all done and submitted. No more killing of my brain cells for time being...! It's time for me to relax my mind and enjoy time watching drama and playing Facebook games.

Okay, anyway I met Baby for dinner and movie last few days. Initially, we wanted to watch Rango, but the tickets were selling fast so we watch BIG MOMMAS Like Father Like Son.

This movie is very hilarious (it seems like we have been watching comedy movies for past few weekends LOL!). Okay it's worth to watch it! Baby and I shall decide to watch Rango next week, we love Johnny Depp :)

Alright, remember I mentioned about the Clarins quiz challenge in the previous post? Yes, this is what I got from Takashimaya :)

Whitening Moisture Day Emulsion

Haha but of course, the bottle size isn't that big la. It's only a travel pack - 15ml, yeah it can last me for 2 -3 months. That's the great advantage of expensive skincare product. You just need to squeeze a little bit (smaller than a size of 1 cent coin) and apply on your face, IT'S ENOUGH to apply your whole face, ok!

***
Heehee I did french nail art while watching 3-hour charity show just now. This is a great way to kill my waiting-for-nails-to dry time. Okay, I did black ones, and added a crystal on each nail. Nice, isn't it? Anyway, I saw SIM-OPI (click it to view its profile) posted a photo on this similar nail design in Facebook, so I decided to try it.

No. 1

No. 2

I asked Mummy to take this picture for me :)

I did not use nail glue to stick my crystals but I just hope that they will last for a week without dropping out.

10 March 2011

UP we go...

I just want to share these with you guys :) Do you remember the movie, UP? Heehee, they did it!

Woohoo! Amazing, isn't it?

Call me a Lucky Winner!

Saw my name?!?

Heehee! I am one of the lucky winners of Clarins Weekly Challenge Quiz :) Yup, I received a sms from Clarins last few days ago, and I was asked to collect my prize from the Clarins counter Takashimaya before 19 March 2011. Hmm so I am going to town this week :)

06 March 2011

I'm broke!!

I met Baby for dinner and movie yesterday. We had our dinner at Aston located at Suntec City before we watched Gnomeo & Juliet at Marina Square. Initially, we wanted to watch either Black Swan or No String Attached. But...the GV Marina did not air Black Swan yesterday, and the tickets were selling fast for No String Attached (we don't want to be seated at front rows). It was really sad, but luckily this movie is damn hilarious hahaha!

And before our movie started, Baby and I shopped around Marina Square and Suntec City. He bought a "shaker" dumbbell from AIBI for $79. At first he did not make decision to buy it, however, after my persuasion he decided to buy it. HAHAHA! This "shaker" dumbbell is quite good for toning up your arm muscles and chest and 7 times more effective than normal dumbbell. But I am not sure whether it is sure or not, must check it out Baby's muscles after a few days.

Anyway, I also spent a lot of money. I'm officially broke :(

I spent $105 on all these!

I bought these bottles of nail polish at Raffles City while waiting for Baby. All his fault for being late!!

Nail Strengthener, Base Coat, Light Blue, Light Purple, Glittery Purple, Glittery Bronze

Facial Buffer

As John Little was having 20% storewide sale, so I decided to purchase Bio-Essence new products. I have been looking at these since last week... Not sure whether it is good and effective or not...

Bird Nest Nutri-Collagen & Whitening Advancer, Bird Nest Nutri-Collagen & Whitening Essence

Although I already shopped at TFS at Raffles City, I still stepped into TFS at Suntec City. I know it's stupid of me. Tadah~ more purchases....

Green Tea Blackhead Remover Massage Oil

White Mud Nose Pack

"Before you apply this white mud nose pack onto your nose or t-zone, it's best to massage green tea massage oil on your nose and rinse it with water so as to "open" the pores for easy removal of blackheads and prevents new blackheads from growing." Okay, this is what TFS promoter told me. True or not, I don't know and I BOUGHT BOTH!

Alright, I can forget about buying more bottles of China Glaze Crackle because I am already broke. Boo-boo!

03 March 2011

Lazy

After staying at home for 4 days, I really feel lazy to go to school tomorrow... YAWNN!

Can I skip the lecture tomorrow?

The travelling distance and time really make me sick of going to school :( Total travelling time (going to school and going home) = 4 freaking hours. Do you know we can do a lot of things in 4 hours time? Be it watching your favourite TV shows, eating lunch/dinner with your family, taking a nap, blah blah~ Somemore, I hate taking MRT during the peak hours. The train is f**king packed and squeezy! How I wish Singapore will not bring in more foreign talents...*hahaha*

Alright, it's time for me to do my assignments before going to Lala-land at 3am. BYE!

01 March 2011

I'm proud of myself :)

Do you remember that I mentioned about tidying up my skincare and cosmetics stuffs in my previous post? Okay, in order to put my stuffs nicely and neatly, I bought another storage box (the one on right side) from Gmarket.

Here it is...

It really feels great and comfortable to see my makeup vanity table looks so neat and clean. Heehee *happy*

Okay, I painted my nails while watching television last night.

CANDY PINK

Closer view...

Layers and layers of pinkish nail colours and bling bling :)

Okay, these were what I used... Pardon me for a not very clear picture of my nail polish colours...
1. Sponge
2. Base coat
3. PP402 Pale Pink
4. Pink-ing of you
5. PP407 Glittery pink
6. WH003 Glittery white
7. Top coat

I use the sponge to tap every colour on my nails so as to create the layers. To make it easier for me, I poured a drop of nail polish on a piece of paper. Then I will use the sponge to tap on it before tapping on my nails. Repeat this step for no. 3 to 5. As for no. 6, after i completed my tap-tap on nails, I just applied it over my nails to create the blingbling-ness.

It was really fun doing it :) I am rather a clumsy person, and for this nail art I don't have to worry about whether it will look messy or whether my nails have any flaws... Because the glittery will cover up the flaws... :)

Anyway, I am waiting for my preorder for this China Glaze crackle nail polish... It has much more colours as compared to OPI Katy Perry range.

I have ordered for the white colour, and it costs me $18. I love white because it can mix-and-match with many different colours like glittery pink, gold or silver. I am very excited about collecting it from the seller this week. Hopefully, it will look nice and pretty :)

I will post an entry on it after I receive and try it :)
