Freedom or not?

Hey yo! My student life finally ended after I took the last examination on 28 April 2012. No more examination or project stress! However, I really cannot bear saying goodbye to student life. That is because I rather suffer from exam/project stress than work stress.

Talking about work, I am currently looking for a permanent job. From today onwards, I am going to be hardworking enough to surf net on JobStreet, JobsDB and bla blah bla... But it's really not easy to find a good job, or rather a suitable job for fresh graduates. Those companies either want "lowly-educated" graduates for simple jobs (those jobs opened for GCE 'O'/ITE/Diploma) or very "experienced" people for high-pay jobs. Well, I don't know which category I belong to. I am sure that all of the fresh degree graduates do not want to grab those jobs with very low salary ($1600-$1800) or required less skills (maybe even with ITE/Diploma-cert graduates can apply). If I apply for those jobs, why do I have to study for a degree? Right?

SO, I am going to give myself one month period to look for a suitable job. Hopefully, the sooner the better. Wish me luck! :)

Sigh!

Sigh! Kinda miss my parents when they are not around at home, especially Mummy. Well, they have already gone to Haikou (a.k.a Hainan Island) with our relatives. At first, I thought it was okay because it will still be the same. However, it isn't the same. The house has became so quiet, and my brother's skin condition is getting worse at this period of time. In fact, my parents weren't in the mood to go there too, but tickets and accommodation were already booked last two weeks.

So, the responsibilities of looking after my brother and our house lie on me. These few days I have been accompanying him to visit clinics and National Skin Centre. Besides that, I need to help him applying medical cream on his wounds. His condition is really worse than what you can imagine. Enzyme + Acne on his face and body, ya both erupted very terribly. Furthermore, I need to study for examination as well. However, like I said in my previous post, I really have no mood to study for this module.

I can't wait for my parents to come back on this Sunday!! :(

Pampering myself...

Hi all, Imma gonna update what I have been doing for the past two weeks.

Firstly, it's mugging time because examination fever is here again! For me, it's gonna be my last paper as my university life gonna ends after this examination. However, I really have no sense of urgency to study for this last paper. WHY? Because I don't know what to study for this module. International Business supposed to be non exam-based module so there were many students (or seniors) skipped lectures last few semesters. When they skipped lectures, those local lecturers became unhappy with it so they complained to RMIT course coordinator and subsequently, they decided that International Business shall become both project-based and exam-based module. So my batch happens to be the unluckiest one as we are the first batch taking examination for this module. There's no past year examination paper for us, and the worst thing is that those stupid lecturers don't know how to help us. Tell me, are they stupid for "using rocks to smash their own foot"?! Luckily, this paper is open book-based, save me a lot of time and effort to memorise those theories.

Secondly, pampering time for myself!! Yes, Elvina and I went for manicure session - GELISH manicure, okay! Our first time :)

My pretty gelish nail art :)

This experience was great and fun! We actually went to the manicurist's house because her business is home-based. Fantastic and save costs, isn't it? Alright, this manicurist is really great and friendly, and she has talents in designing and drawing arts on our nails. Gelish nail polish is trending now, because they are more long-lasting than normal ones. You don't even have to worry your gelish nail polish will be chipped off when you are doing housework! As for me, I always have itchy hands which trying to peel my nail polish but now, I can't do it! HAHAHA! So, this nail design gonna stay on my finger nails for a longer time. For your information, you may go to this link - "Joycelyn Kwan Nail Art".

Thirdly, Elvina's friend is currently working at Sephora so she asked me if I wanna get anything from there as her friend can get staff discount. So, I asked to buy these...

Sephora Nano Lipliner - Native Nude and Real Red

Sephora Perfection Primer

Okay, I know I have been spending a lot of money on cosmetics. I shall CONTROL myself from now onwards.

Lastly, I CHOPPED OFF MY LONG HAIR! *screams*

Okay, my hair length really shortened a lot, and of course lighter a lot. I feel that I can fly! Though I can't bear with my long hair, I have to cut because my hair end is really getting drier and always tangled like mad. After cutting hair, Zen recommended me to buy the treatment cream. He advised me not to use CONDITIONER anymore, and replace conditioner with the treatment cream instead. Conditioner is actually a very strong kind of treatment cream, it will definitely smoothen your hair after bathe but when you go out, your hair is dry again. Therefore, he said that for those who have dry hair, it is recommended to use TREATMENT instead! SO you guys learn something new today.

Okay, I'm done with "showing off" on how I pampered myself. Yup, by the way Baby is the one who forked out $$$ for my pretty nails and hair! HAHAHAHAHAH! :D
