It's Theodore! ♥

My Christmas present from Baby...

So cute right?
Okay, I'm waiting for more presents from him... :D

p/s: if you have watched Alvin and the Chipmunks 3, you'll understand what/why Theodore said this.

Lotsa Gift Redemptions :D

I haven't been blogging for more than 2 weeks. Needless to say, I am busy working after my examination. I only have one day off a week, thus, I always feel very tired when it comes to Monday (that's my off-day!)...

At this moment, I am working at Takashimaya. Well, I am going bankrupt because of the costly food for dinner. Plus, the transportation fees aren't cheap too! Either I take express bus 518 or I take short-route bus to interchange and then take MRT to Somerset. Nonetheless, the best is that I can go window shopping around Takashimaya or Orchard area after dinner. Heehee :)

Well, for the past two weeks I have redeemed many things...

First, I redeemed Loreal White Perfect day moisturising cream. It was because I accumulated total of 230 or 250 (I can't remember) points which entitled me to redeem any range of moisturising cream. So, I chose this. I think it works well for me :D

Second, one of my colleagues came to me when I was standing at the counter. She asked me to connect to Facebook and like the "Fancl Singapore" fanpage, and then I could collect the free samples from the promoters at the roadshow.

Tadah~

Third, I happened to see this advertisement posted on the SBS bus when I was having lunch at McDonald at The Heeren. Okay, I think this kind of marketing stunt is becoming very common now.

Here another one again...

Through social media like Facebook, they want to attract people's attention by giving them free samples if those people "visit" their pages. If no free samples are given, nobody will bother to find out information about their products. Anyway, I think this marketing stunt is effective.

Woohoo! Examination fever gone! I'm going for a second trip to Johor tomorrow :D

31 October 2011

My Virgin Trip to Johor

Yeah, 2 papers down! Though I still have one more paper to go, I am having holiday moods now. After taking these 2 tough papers, I am not confident in getting good grades. Okay, anyway it's over. I must concentrate on another paper on 9 November.

Before I started my revision for next paper, I went for a short shopping trip in Johor with Baby and his family last Saturday. Unfortunately, I was having menses and split headache before setting off. Thus, I felt a little bit uncomfortable throughout the whole journey. BUT uh, the uncomfortable-ness went away when I started to shop and buy things. Good cure :)

Anyway, I bought a lot of things there...

Passport Holder

This was the first thing I bought when we shopped around. Cute, isn't it? It cost RM12.90, so I thought it was a reasonable price.

Egg Pore Cleanser (from Tony Moly)

Baby bought this cleanser to remove his blackheads. It cost RM55.90, and of course I psycho-ed him to buy so that we could get free membership. Yes, in order to get free membership, it is required for us to spend at least RM100.

Blusher, Blusher Brush, Lip Scrub, "Orange" Hand Lotion and free samples

Okay, I only bought blusher, blusher brush and lip scrub. That two little blue bottles were given to me as the free samples for facial care. As for that "orange" hand lotion, it was the giveaway gift as we spent more than RM120. See, it's worth it right? Free membership + free samples + free gift + 10% immediate discount for members = GREAT! And, this membership card can be used in Singapore!

Local Food Products

Okay, I love to eat local products so I bought quite a lot back home. Haha I think I will probably buy more if I am going there again.

Clothes that I bought...

Clothes that Baby bought...

FYI, those black tees with Chinese words implied "I am not a beauty" (in first picture) and "I am a good man" (in second picture). Yes, it may sound cheena but also very funny leh.

By the way, Baby applied the membership for Padini The Concept Shop in order to get 50% discount for his blouse. Besides enjoying discount, this membership card allows you to earn points if you buy anything from this shop. These points will not get expired even if your membership card is expired. For example, you have 100 points in your card but your card already expired last month. So all you do is to pay $8 to renew your one-year membership, then start collecting points and your 100 points will still be there. Great, isn't it? Unlike those other departmental stores membership, the points we earned always expire in 6 months or so. Furthermore, Padini has other outlets in Malaysia, such like Gentings. Padini actually has the similar shop concept like Forever 21. So for those people who are bored of Forever 21, you may wish to take a look at Padini ya.

Okay, that's all I wanna update today ;)

Our BTO :)

Goodness, I only have less than a week to study for examination. I haven't even memorise anything yet. Time is running out arr!

By the way, Baby and I have applied for BTO last few weeks ago. Today, we went to select our flat unit yeah :D Out of 1200++ applicants, we got queue number 17! How lucky we are! Of course, we got the chance to choose the unit we wanted. Okay, we chose Fernvale Rivergrove at Sengkang. Oh no, I still love Tampines. Too bad, Tampines is fully-developed and there is no more BTO projects. Hmm I still prefer crowded places.

Okay, Baby was happy because our selected unit near to his current house. So unfair! :( Haha, anyway this BTO project will be completed in 3rd quarter of 2015. 4 more years to go... :)

Alright, I shall go back to revision... Ciao!

Fed UP!!

Seriously I don't know what I have done to make you keep shouting at me? What, excuse me it's not my fault okay! If you knew you made a mistake, please lower down your volume! You got no right to scold at me!

And ya, so much help I did to someone, another person commented me as "selfish". WTF is this man!? Is this meant to be a joke? Sorry, I can't take it. I mean, did I do anything which made you that I AM SELFISH?!? Staying up late to help your girlfriend is my responsibility, is it? Moreover, I rejected her paying me for the printing jobs. Yes, I shouldn't help her and just let print her assignment in school herself! Or I should have collected $0.50 per piece I printed for her! Will a selfish person lend his/her things to someone else? No, right? Yes, I lent my things to her, and then the outcome is "I AM SELFISH!" Cool, isn't it?

You can say I am being over-sensitive or what. Seriously I don't care! I am not going to be Miss Nice or whatever. Because being a nice person never make me happy too! Just fuck off!

26 September 2011

I HATE FREE-RIDERS!

Finally, our BB group assignment is done! Hopefully, we can get a good grade for this report. We spent a lot of time and effort in completing it; and I had a hard time editing the whole report as every one of us has different styles of writing and I MUST STANDARDISE EVERYTHING!

Oh well, we won't be doing double work if this person is willing to make an effort to do her assigned tasks well. Okay, I am not trying to pick on her lousy work. By looking at her work, we actually knew that she did not put any effort in doing her part, that is, read the textbook and try to understand what she is required to do. Fine, if she still don't understand, she can ask us for help. Why give us a piece of shit and made us re-do every tasks assigned to her?

I really hate this kind of person when doing project! Yes, a free-rider. Even though not every one of us are geniuses, at least we made an effort to read the whole textbook trying to find out some hints in doing our tasks. For her, we can see that she didn't even read her textbook! So what can we say? AND every time we set deadlines for compiling our parts, she's always the one giving excuses to delay her parts! WTH! She has other assignments to do (WE ALSO HAVE!). She's rushing for another project (WE ARE TOO!). The end result is a piece of shit work threw to us to re-do (YES WE STILL HAVE OUR OWN PARTS TO EDIT!).

That's why we cannot speed up our completion of BB report. Pissed off! Damn unfair, if we can get a good grade, she gets to earn something for not contributing any effort. If we cannot get a good grade, she also has nothing to lose because she did not contribute anything! Hate her to the max!

I THINK I REALLY NEED THIS!

Alright, I must go and sleep to replenish my energy now! zZzz...

19 September 2011

Out with Baby ♥

I met Baby at Orchard yesterday. Before I went for haircut, we bought the movie tickets at Lido. After buying the tickets, we went to D.A Hairdressing at Far East Plaza. Ya, managing long and curly hair is really a chore to me! I decided let my hairstylist to trim the hair ends, layer the thick hair volume and cut the fringe. I'm happy, and my head feels so much lighter :D

Before haircut

After haircut

After cutting hair, we still got time for our early lunch at Graffiti Cafe at Far East Plaza. Hmm the standard of Pontian wanton mee seems to be different at different areas uh? At there, the soup is salty! We still prefer the one at Cuppage :)

It's movie time! We watched 'Johnny English Reborn'; and you must really watch this movie! Damn hilarious! To me, Johnny English still have the shadows of Mr Bean lehh. I just can't stop laughing at his funny actions and expressions! :D

I miss watching Mr Bean! Maybe I should search for his shows online :) Heehee...

17 September 2011

Examination Fever :(

Great! Examination timetable is out, and yet our project craze is still ongoing now! After everything is submitted, we only have less than 3 weeks to study for examination. What are they rushing for? They wanna suffocate us to death man!

Project Deadlines:
Human Resource Development (HRD) Reflection Paper - 21 September
Buyer Behaviour (BB) Group Assignment - 27 September
Human Resource Development (HRD) Individual Essay - 5 October

Examination Timetable:
Buyer Behaviour (BB) - 25 October, 10am - 12.15pm
Strategic Management (SM) - 27 October, 2.15pm - 5.30pm
Human Resource Development (HRD) - 9 November, 2.15pm - 5.30pm

Okay, what's this man! They drag the last paper till 9 November... I think SM and HRD should swop the dates lor! There are so many things for me to study for SM. Ok, besides studying theories and concepts, WE HAVE TO MEMORISE SIX CASE STUDIES BEFORE EXAMINATION! Yes, they will not provide us the case studies at the examination hall. It's so ridiculous! The reason why I think that SM and HRD should swop dates is that there's nothing for me to study for HRD. Furthermore, the HRD paper only has the weightage of 30%. HAHA study what?!

I really don't know how the course coordinators and administrators are thinking about! I still have to wait till June 2012 for my graduation. ENDURE!!!

13 September 2011

Procrastination

I feel so lazy to complete other assignments after the HRD presentation was over last week. Yeah, actually I could finish the HRD reflection journal last week as I had no lecture from last Thursday till Sunday. Okay, I am procrastinating... Hmm I still have 3 assignments to go - HRD reflection journal, HRD individual essay, and Buyer Behaviour (BB) group assignment.

Oh my! Please give me some motivation to start my work and stop procrastinating!!

By the way, I am still waiting for Clarins 20% members' sale at Isetan Scotts! Okay, I didn't sign up as one of its members. Elvina has it! Yes, I got no more day moisturiser and I am relying on OLAY night moisturiser as a normal moisturiser and makeup base. Sad, isn't it? But I just don't wanna spend extra money on buying day moisturiser of other brands. I know it's not good... Just wondering how long should I wait. I used to use Bio-essence moisturiser, not bad la. But Clarins Whitening Moisture Day Emulsion is a better choice. Of course, it's much expensive than Bio-essence products. Hopefully, the sale is coming soon in mid September.

Alright, I shouldn't spend time on talking nonsense here. Off I go to start my assignment!

08 September 2011

Floriography ♥

La la la-la la la...

Taken during the full-dress rehearsal

Flower Girls lol!

Whee! We had our Human Resource Development (HRD) presentation yesterday. This assignment required us to design a training program for adults (which also known as Adult Learning), and yes, we chose the topic of "Floriography - Languages of Flowers" which is completely unrelated to HR. At first, we were rather not confident about this because we were "forced" to use this topic. Ya, our lecturer rejected almost all our ideas except this one. Okay fine, we accepted it.

Because of our unwillingness to accept this idea, we only met up for meeting for less than 5 times and did not rehearse many times. Erm not that we were confident or what, it's just that this assignment only has the weightage of 15%. WHY SO SERIOUS?!

In addition, we initially thought that other people might do better than us because of they used professional tools for their powerpoint slides and their programs were so informative!

BUT who knows our presentation turned out FANTASTIC... It turned out so fantastic that even our lecturer enjoyed it so much! I'm so happy! Let me tell you how fantastic it was...

Firstly, although they used professional skills in designing their powerpoint slides or being very informative about their program, they were unable to keep the audience high. Some of them were being criticised badly by our lecturer because their programs contained too much information which cannot be absorbed by the audience. What our lecturer wanted to see is "something interesting which makes the audience (the working adults) feel lighthearted and relaxed, while at the same time these audience can also learn something from it". Okay, sounds complicated right? Alright, anyway we got what he wanted!!! *feel proud*

Secondly, from the moment we started to roleplay and present our program, the audience (including our lecturer) laughed throughout the whole presentation, as if every part of our presentation is the climax? Talking about the climax, we created a "surprise" during the interaction with audience. Yes, even our lecturer was surprised and thought that we got into trouble about interacting with audience. HAHAHA! The "surprise" turned out hilarious too!

Thirdly, as our lecturer injured his foot during the soccer match, we decided to use this example and incorporated into our roleplay. WOAH! The audience's reaction was great and our lecturer was tickled by us! Of course, there were other parts of our roleplay were fun too!

Lastly, our strict lecturer praised us to the skies after our presentation. Although other groups received some positive feedback from him, they were also being criticised by him at the same time. As for us, all we received was PRAISES and GOOD FEEDBACK! And, he uses our group performance as a STANDARD for other groups which are going to present next week! I guess, most of our course-mates gonna hate us for that!

Props

Though we thought that we heck care about 15%, we still bothered to prepare those props and to spend time and effort to think of ideas of linking funny roleplay to presentation. Well, our time and effort paid off, isn't it? Alright, I hope that the audience will give us high marks, and please don't mark us down because of their childishness or jealousy. Ya, I guess everyone in HR cohort recognises us. Hmm we prefer to keep ourselves low-profile. Heehee!

Anyway, good luck to those who are presenting next week! :)

It's time to SMURFS!

I'm so obsessed with THE SMURFS after watching the movie!

Of all characters, I love Papa the most! He's a great father!

SO so so obsessed with this theme song too...

[Sung by Smurfs in unison]
La la la-la la la,
Sing a happy song.
La la la-la la la,
Smurf your whole day long.
[Whistled]
La la la-la la la
[Papa Smurf speaks]
Smurf along with me!
[Whistled]
La la la-la la la
[Papa Smurf speaks]
Simple as can be.

[Sung by Smurfs in unison]
Next time you're feeling blue just let a smile begin,
Happy things will come to you...
[Smurfette speaks]
So smurf yourself a grin!

[Ominous Gargamel music]
[Gargamel speaks]
Oooooo I hate Smurfs!
[Azrael meows]
[Gargamel speaks]
I'll get you, I'll get all of you if it's the last thing I ever do! hehehehe!

[Sung by Smurfs in unison]
La la la-la la la,
Now you know the tune,
[Harmony Smurf plays the "la la la-la la la" tune (barely) on his off-key trumpet]
[Sung by Smurfs in unison, accentuated for finale]
You'll be Smurfing soon!

HRD Project Meeting @ TP

I went back to TP today! I miss poly life! Alright I was there with Elvina, Sharon and Weilian for our project meeting. It was strange for us to go back for project meeting but we don't have a choice. First, we don't wish to go all the way to Clementi since we don't have lecture today. Second, all of us stay at east area so TP is the best location for us to meet. Third, we need a room and the students of TP are having examination, so there will be a lot of empty rooms available.

Before we started our project discussion, we had our lunch at Biz Park. Oh~ I miss the western food - Cheap but delicious!

Chicken Cutlet

It was yummy yummy! That auntie gave me a big portion of chicken, which I didn't managed to finish it up. Ok, most importantly I was satisfied :)

Then after lunch, we went upstairs to look for a study room. True enough, there were many empty rooms, and nobody drove us out! We stayed in the room from 12noon to 5pm, and discussed about our role-play and presentation. We were almost struck at every scenario of our role-play, and we spent a lot of time linking up everything. Nonetheless, because of our "funny" role-play ideas, we enjoyed ourselves throughout the whole discussion. Yep, we were glad that we already linked up almost everything. So for this weekend, all we must do is to prepare props and our scripts.

Messy table

After project meeting, Elvina, Kris and I went up to 6th floor to look for our LOM lecturers. Alright, I guess only Mr Selwyn Lim recognised me as one of his SIP students. Then, as for Ms Jenny Leong, she only recognised me after looking at me a few seconds. But she can't remember my name. Sigh! Okay, it seemed to be awkward hahaha! After chit-chatting with Mr Selwyn Lim and Mr Goh for awhile, we went to get our props from Elvina's uncle and then Kris and Elvina sent me home.

Anyway, I wanna share this with you. Have you heard of this ChocoMarvel? This is the BEST FRIEND of all girls who are having menstruation.

However, I don't know whether this will work well for all girls, so I suggested that you girls click the link below and then they will send samples for you in 2 weeks time. You can try it out and see how effective it works for you before you decide to buy it.

I hope it helps :)

Love Thou Loved Ones ♥

Hello! Here I am back to blogging...

Due to my hectic schedule, I don't have any extra time for me to update my blog. Oh well, things were bad for us for the last two months. Time flies...It's has been one month since my Ah-po passed away.

Since when I was a baby, I was being taken care by Ah-po. That explained why I had a very close relationship with her. From what I recalled, my memories with her were unforgettable.

I'm that toddler who was sitting on her lap

When I was a kid, I liked to jump on her bed. Then she would scolded me, but as a naughty girl, I continued to jump and jump until she got very mad. When I was at her house every weekend, I would saw her watching television and dipping her soda biscuits with coffee. Since then, I was influenced by her...till now I still dip my biscuits with coffee. Yup, you can see the picture below. That was what I did - took her biscuit and dipped her coffee :) got caught on camera oops! :X

Of course, just a few words are not enough to express what kinds of memories I shared with her for 23 years... But all I wanna say is that I really miss her...and I miss my Ah-gong as well... Ah-gong doted on my younger brother and I the most among all his grandchildren. Haha I also don't know why... Maybe we are the cutest HAHAHA!

Well, they might be enjoying themselves at another world. Nonetheless, they will always live in my heart ♥

Okay, I shall stop the sad topic here.

Well, as usual my hectic schedules are caused by tonnes of project assignments. Hmm maybe I should stop complaining because I am taking 3 modules this semester. I should be worry for next semester. Know why? We realised that we still have 4 more modules to go instead of just 3 more modules. Yes, we miscalculated the number of modules, and happily thought that our last semester gonna be a relaxed one. Having 4 more modules means that we gonna have MORE assignments. Nice one, good luck to us next semester!

Besides being busy with my assignments, I am busy dating with Baby and my cliques as well. Heehee these are what I asked Ronald to get for me from Taiwan but he rejected my payment for these masks. Yeah free masks!! *happy* Saves my money wahahaha!

My favourite brand of masks!

This brand of masks is fantastic and works well for me, but it is a little bit pricey. I should say, it's money for the quality! Hmm do I sound a bit random about mentioning the masks? Never mind, I met my poly cliques for dinner and supper last week. It was great catching up with them... Next up, meeting my TPSS cliques this month!! Yeah, I am looking forward to it as we haven't meet each other for 2 freaking years!

Alright, it's time for me to get my beauty sleep! Good night!

21 August 2011

I'm still alive.
I will update soon, hopefully.

My New Handphone :)

Say HELLO to
Android~

Yes, I got myself a new toy two days ago. That is, Samsung Galaxy Ace.

Okay, it's not as HOT as iphone4, but it looks like iphone4. Alright, actually I wanted to get an iphone4, but I was reluctant to spend freaking $480 on this gadget. Iphone4 is too common, as almost everyone owns one. As compared to iphone4, galaxy ace is newer. As Singtel is having promotion for this smartphone, I spent $0 for getting it. Without promotion, I would have to pay $198 with two-year plan. Fantastic, isn't it? So, I grabbed it immediately once I saw that promotion. Of course, I did not get it on impulse ok. I did my research, and I quite like this phone second to iphone4. Lucky me! :)

A reminder for a friend :)

I know it's inappropriate or impolite for me to bring up personal issues of a friend here. However, I feel that I must voice out my opinions. What I am going to say may sound hurtful or too straightforward, but I really hope that you will read this post. You know who you are...

Anyway, I am not going to divulge all the grandma's stories here... I will go straight to the point on what I am thinking.

You told me that you want to let Guy S go, I don't understand why you are still replying his smses or meeting him. By doing these, aren't you are reminding him "Hey, I'm here for you", or telling him "It's not over between us yet, you still have a chance". Ironic, isn't it?

You told me that you are looking forward to start a new relationship with Guy K, then why are you looking behind your back for Guy S? To me, you are moving backward to the past instead of walking forward to embrace a new future.

Despite that you told me that you are looking forward to start a new relationship with Guy K, I feel that you are being indecisive because... you still love Guy S but you are also afraid of losing Guy K. You may say I don't understand what you and Guy S have gone through for the past 5 years. Yes, I admit. As a friend, I am not advising you to forget him or to erase those memories shared by both of you. Whether those memories are sweet or unhappy, they are one of the stories in your life journal and nobody can take away from you. Since you have decided to end this chapter (with Guy S) and want to start a new chapter (with Guy K) in your life journal, you should stop "scribbling" on that "old chapter"... BE MORE DECISIVE!

Well, every couple shares happy memories when they are in love, HOWEVER...
if one day they found that their personalities clash,
if they always quarrel every time they meet,
if one of them does not make any effort in maintaining a relationship,
if one of them always takes his/her partner for granted,
and many other ifs...

DOES IT MEAN THAT THEY MUST BE "TIED" TOGETHER BECAUSE THEY ONCE SHARED SWEET AND HAPPY MEMORIES? No, right?

If you are letting Guy S go, why are you feeling miserable? Letting him go should make you feel relieved. If that makes you so miserable, why let him go in the first place? When you are feeling miserable, the one who stand by you feel more miserable than you. Because of your soft-heartedness, you couldn't bear to hurt Guy S. But, I think that you are hurting more people. If you are more decisive and determined, you only hurt one person. Am I right to say that? Yes, you will definitely feel guilty towards the one whom you decided to give up, but that's only temporary. If you continue to drag your feet on resolving these issues, trust me you will only worsen the whole situation.

Firstly, three parties feel miserable for even LONGER period of time. Secondly, you give Guy S an illusion of him "having a chance", and then make him fall even HARDER to hell if you are dragging your feet on staying firm on your decision. Thirdly, these issues will cast a DARKER shadow on your new relationship with Guy K; or will create a DEEPER crack on your relationship/friendship with Guy S.

You may think that my analysis is not right. However, as an outsider, I see situations clearer than you guys. That's all I wanna say. Those words are hurtful, but I only speak the truth to my friends. Happiness doesn't wait for you, it's for you to pursue! 要懂得放下, 才能够拥... get it?
Good luck!

Lose fats!

Woohoo! Today marks the first day of "holiday" after 1.5 months of work, and I decided to give myself about 1 week break before school reopens. Today's weather is damn fantastic for my morning workout... 45 minutes of light workout included jogging, walking and stair-climbing. I have not been exercising since a few years back ago... That's bad, I know. I think that my metabolism rate is getting lower, which also means that my body burns calories slower. Therefore, I need to exercise in order to increase my metabolism. By increasing metabolism, I can lose weight faster than just dieting. Nonetheless, weight might also increase due to the reason that fats become MUSCLES! Muscles are heavier than fats... Haha but I still hope to see a decrease in my weight. :)

For this "holiday", I have planned out what I am going to do...
- "Summer" cleaning of my house
- Baking cakes
- Shopping with Mummy
- Dating with Baby
- Exercising
- Get my passport done
- etc...

Okay, it's time for me to do summer cleaning of my house now! Ciao~

My Birthday Celebration 2011

An update on my birthday celebration with Baby...

I met Baby at Orchard in the afternoon, because he wanna get a Longchamp bag for my birthday present. Okay lar, it's me asking for it one. HAHA! We went down to Paragon to get one :)

After buying the bag, we decided to go Marina Square for movie as we were also going to have our dinner at Suntec City. Alright, we brought our movie tickets and then Baby brought me to Andersen's Ice Cream to eat cake. He said that I must eat cake on my birthday.

Ice Lemon Tea & Blueberry Cheesecake

The cake is yummy but fattening, so we only ordered one slice :)

Camwhoring~

Baby & I...

Second shot...

My present :)
Thank Baby!

I love this photo :)

After that, we shopped around Marina Square and Suntec City while we were waiting for dinner buffet time to start.

Here we were having our buffet...

SINFUL~

Yummy~

After our dinner, we went for a stroll at Esplanade before we watched the night movie, Mr Popper's Penguins... a very hilarious movie. The penguins are so cute!

Alright, I gained another kg after eating too much! It's time for me to go on diet. Sigh!
